Dr. Natasha Garcia was born and raised in San Antonio. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on St. Kitts, in the Caribbean but having completed her Bachelor's Degree at Texas A&M University, she still bleeds maroon and is an Aggie at heart. She is a Feline Advocate and she has a particular interest in feline internal medicine and behavior, feline and canine soft tissue surgery, and ultrasonography. She is also Fear Free Certified-Level 1, and she practices and encourages Cat-Friendly Handling techniques. Dr. Garcia moved to Odessa, TX in 2015 to work at a small animal hospital and became the Managing Veterinarian in early 2018. She is married and in addition to having her 2-year-old son, James, she has a 14-year-old diabetic cat, Ribbon and a 10-year-old Aussie/Healer mix, Bowie.
